Babes-Bolyai University offers 248 undergraduate degree programmes and 264 master's degree programmes in 40 fields, 28 doctoral schools, in 3 line of studies.
DISTANCE LEARNING AND
PART TIME LEARNING
Distance learning is an educational process characterized by training programmes whose components are: the use of specific resources for computerized educaion, distance communication systems, tutorial system as well as self-training and self-evaluation.

Bachelor's level
Babeș-Bolyai University is the oldest university in Romania and it offers study programmes that aim at increasing career opportunities. UBB has 258 undergraduate study programmes, of which 162 undergraduate programmes are in Romanian, 70 in Hungarian, 8+1 in German, 17 in English and 1 in French .

Master's level
Master's programmes - are available to students who have obtained a bachelor degree and provides the specialized training that graduates need in their professional lives. UBB has 270 undergraduate study programmes in 40 fields of. Of these 170 programmes are in Romanian, 49 in Hungarian, 7+1 in German, 41 in English, 3 in French, 1 in Italian and 1 in Finnish.

Doctoral level
Doctoral programmes - represents the highest form of specialization and includes activities such as seminars, workshops, preparing and mentoring doctoral theses. Admission to the a doctoral programme is conditional upon prior acceptance of a scientific advisor, mastery of two foreign languages and a master's degree.

Distance learning is an opportunity for those who want to learn without interrupting their professional activity. It is a modern and flexible form of education using modern means of learning. On a domestic level UBB holds a leading position in this form of education, with the largest number of accredited programmes and the largest number of students.

Continuing education
The Continuous Training Centre of the Babes-Bolyai University supports non-traditional forms of education, conducted at departments, faculties, centres, or university level, independently or in partnership with individuals and institutions in the public or private sector, which are not integrated in study programmes at bachelor, master's and doctoral level.
