Accommodation

The Babeş-Bolyai University’s accommodation complex comprises three locations in the “I. Haţieganu” Sports Park.

These locations feature modern accommodation that operate as a hotel network equipped to house university guests.

The General Administrative Directorate manages the accommodation complex through the “I. Haţieganu” Sports Complex Service, and it contains 149 accommodation rooms with 261 beds distributed across three buildings, as follows:

• in the Universitas Student House - 96 rooms accommodating 265 beds;
• in the Guest House - 17 rooms accommodating 26 beds;
• in Juventus -  36 rooms (studio type).

The accommodation complex includes rooms equipped with kitchens and bathrooms, as well as TVs and refrigerators, as well as rooms without kitchens and with one or two beds.

Accommodation can be paid for at the reception desk in Lei and Euro, in cash or by card (for international guests), or by bank transfer to the University account. The accommodation prices in effect are approved by the Babeş-Bolyai University Senate on an annual basis.

On the main floor of the Guest House, there is an 80-seat student restaurant, a reception room with 12 seats, and two other rooms with 25 seats each. Breakfast is served as a smorgasbord (using the receipt supplied at the reception, worth 12 lei), lunch and dinner are paid for directly at the restaurant.

Guests enjoy internet access in each room, parking, and access to sporting facilities (tennis court, athletic track, football field, basketball court, swimming pool); fees are established by the Babeş-Bolyai University Senate.

"Universitas Student House" was inaugurated on the occasion of the 5th Conference of European Universities (USA). International students who attend courses based on cooperation agreements or through international programmes (CEEPUS, ERASMUS, SOCRATES), international teachers and University guests invited in conferences, symposia, summer schools, doctoral committees are accommodated in this residence hall.

“Juventus” & “Guest House”  provide housing for University’s outstanding athletes (mostly in the basketball, handball, and judo-girls sections), as well as visiting professors and international students attending summer courses.
